Update (October 25th, 2021):
We’d like to thank all the participants who visited us recently.
The 2020 group show and Gabriel Baiguini’s solo are open until 31st October 2021: later, the 795 ART gallery will move to another venue, and we will follow. This time has been specially busy, and time flew faster than ever.
Update (July 24th, 2021)
At the beginning of September 2021 – on the occasion of the Festival of the Arts, and crossing fingers and toes (!!), we are scheduling the collective exhibition in PRESENCE of the 2020 winners, and also the 2019 revival since few have managed to see that show for obvious reasons.

The 2021 edition of the international photography contest
OneDayInVenezia is open
The show will go on! This sixth edition of the OneDayInVenezia Photo Contest addresses all lovers of photography who (no matter whether recently or in the past) have taken pictures during their stay in Venice. OneDayInVenezia accepts online entries from amateur photographers of any age and nationality, with one caveat: photographers by profession are not admitted. As its name suggests, the contest’s theme is “One day in Venice”, in all its possible facets. The right time to enter the competition is “the sooner the better”, as it is possible to submit one’s photos every month until the end of the year, and this will thus result in more chances of victory. In fact, the competition is made up of 12 monthly photo contests, and the final Grand Winner will be chosen among the monthly winners. In this very unusual time because of the pandemic, the monthly winners will be hosted in a group show both virtually and in Venice at the Giudecca 795 Art Gallery; they will receive a fine art print and a critical review of their work and will be published in a digital catalog. In addition to the above, the Grand Winner wins a stay in Venice with the best of the Venetian hospitality, and a personal exhibition at the art gallery. Some other special prizes will be also assigned at the end of the year. There is a good reason for all contestants to participate (included the ones with low self-esteem!): EVERY submitted photo will be exhibited digitally at the Venetian art gallery.
A partner of the photo contest since its very beginning, Giudecca 795 is a contemporary art gallery with a passion for talent scouting; since 2007 it has organized numerous exhibitions and events dedicated to emerging artists and street art. Among the other friends of the OneDayInVenezia Photo Contest, we count the famous Harry’s Bar by Arrigo Cipriani, Gran Caffè Quadri in St.Mark’s Square, Ristorante Da Ivo, Hotel Metropole, Hilton Molino Stucky Venice, Papadopoli Hotel Venezia. The contest was born to encourage those who consider photography as part of their life, even if their technique needs some improvement: for this reason, photographers by profession are not admitted.
OneDayInVenezia Photo Contest is also the perfect opportunity for those who have visited Venice in the past, as it offers the chance to win a trip back, and any way to stay connected with the city, its culture, and art.
Entries must be submitted as jpg files on the website www.onedayinvenezia.com, where you can find all information about the regulation and prizes, as well as the photos awarded in the past editions. The registration fee is only 10 euros.
The contest’s social media accounts publish news, tips, and curiosities about the competition, photography, and Venice.
